Community Class - Hand To Hand Defense - Deployment and Retention Concepts

SUMMARY:

This class is taught in the classroom and the fight Mat, our hand combat instructor Patrick Odle brings a host of knowledge and experience to help show you the fundamentals of Deploying a sharpe edge weapon and making sure that you retain it. 

Nothing worse than being in a fight and losing when your opponent takes you weapon and harms you with it.  

We will cover:

• What to carry.
• How to carry it.
• Getting to your weapon.
• Maintaining control of it.
• Personal space management.
• Self-defense tactics.

DESCRIPTION:

This course will focus on the importance of personal space management for successful deployment of your self-defense tools.

Often times, having an opponent too close will hinder your ability to deploy your defensive tools, but when you know how to manage and create personal space, you have a better chance of successful deployment and defense of yourself at close quarters.
