Handgun - Manipulations
Handgun - Manipulations
SUMMARY:
Manipulations is taught by our most advanced instructors.
Todd Nielsen and his team instruct this class.
Manipulations is a technical word for how you are handling your firearm in a variety of settings.
In our beginner courses, the gun is resting on the table with stationary shooting, we progress to starting a drill with their gun in hand in a ready position to shoot, then move to drawing from the holster, getting on target and shooting.
In our manipulations class we incorporate all of the above and teach the most effective ways to handle your firearm in a variety of settings.
This includes:
- Drawing from your Holster (more effectively)
- Support Hand Manipulations
- Unorthodox ways of Chambering Rounds
- Clearing Malfunctions
- Tactical Reloading
- Effective Trigger Press
- Single Hand Shooting
- Non dominant Hand Shooting
- Shooting from Concealment, Cover or Barricade
Repetitive training of fundamentals will also be incorporated:
- Safety Handling
- Holding and Grip of your firearm
- Eye Alignment
- Body Position / Stance
- Refining your Sights use
- Acquiring your Target more quickly and accurately
- Aim Improvement Techniques
- Effective movement Techniques
- Understanding and Using Proper Use of Force
- Moving and Shooting with Real Life Scenarios
- Split second Decision Making
Muzzle awareness is mandatory to attend this course. We will challenge you to be able to draw faster, shoot more accurately, and fix malfunctions faster than you ever have in the past. We will be doing many repetitions to build the necessary motor skills and neuro-pathways necessary to achieve those goals. We will push you to reach your goals and highest potential in the course. We will provide you with drills to use in your training regime that will help you stay on top of your skillsets.

WHAT'S NEXT?:
Any Skills Maintenance Class or RG handgun 5 - Lowlight.
Our handgun 5 class is designed to put all your training to the test in a completely new environment where you can't see because of the dark, you are blinded with headlights, or distracted with flashing or other low light scenarios.
Combining all the fundamental training techniques and adding this new variable is an effective way to stress test your skills and capabilities.
All of the practice comes together or falls apart when its no visibility, you add urgency being timed in your reaction and the stress of shooting or not shooting and making sure if you shoot, you hit the bad guy on the target.
This course is an advanced course to reward those who have spent the time building the fundamentals and give you a chance to see if you can pull them all together in the dark.
