SUMMARY:
Review the course of Advanced Competition Handgun Training Part 1
- Movement: Introduce multiple ways to Exit and Enter a position
- Complex target engagement techniques: Merging Position Merging Targets
- Deficiency Training: Identify participant’s areas of weakness and develop their
confidence. - Introducing Match Mode: Working on emotional stability and pushing it to the new 100%
- Participants will develop a better mindset, identify their weaknesses, and build
confidence with new techniques, enabling them to perform more efficiently and
competitively in USPSA and IDPA matches.
TIME COMMITMENT: 8 Hours Total (often times split up into 2 days)
PRICE: $250
SETTING: Range at Ready Gunner.
This class spans over 2 days/evening of 4 hours each.
The class will be shooting in front of the normal shooting bay stalls using the shooting trays moved close to the trap. This allows the instructor to monitor all shooters in one line. Eye and Ear protection need to be worn at all times inside the range.

PREREQUISITES: Competition Handgun 1
INSTRUCTOR: Frank Xu certified USPSA Chief Range Officer and IDPA Safety Officer.
Frank is a current USPSA and IDPA Master Class Shooter with Multiple State, Regional,
and National competition experiences and titles. He is also a Trainer for the Taiwan
IDPA Team in 2022 and 2024. Frank Xu Bio
REQUIRED GEAR:
- Handgun
- Holster (Kydex Preferred)
- Magazine carriers
- 2-3 magazines (more is better)
- Minimum of 500 rounds of ammunition
- Ear and eye protection
- Any other personal gear necessary for competition.
